Law enforcement aspects of surveillance in the public space

On 17 November 2022, the LIBE Committee of the European Parliament held a hearing on “Law enforcement aspects of surveillance in the public space”.
Developments in AI featured prominently, and the AP4AI project was mentioned as a positive example of law enforcement agencies’ proactive approach to ensure accountability towards citizens.
